Abstract

In the framework of the EAERE FEEM VIU Summer School 2016, the FEEM Workshop has the goal to analyze the application of the new discoveries of the behavioral economics and of the social psychology to the case of environmental behavior and of the energy savings.

Short Abstract:
Over the past years field experiments have flourished in economics. Their deployment has led to new insights and more robust impact evaluation of public policies. The aim of this workshop is to discuss the current state of the field, identify research gaps and priorities, and discuss implications for policy. The meeting brings together academic and policy experts in field experiments and impact evaluation. It is organized around two sessions: the first focuses on the frontier of research, while the second discusses implications for policy.

This workshop is organized within the project COBHAM: "The role of consumer behaviour and heterogeneity in the integrated assessment of energy and climate policies", a European Research Council (ERC) Starting Grant funded by the European Union's Seventh Framework Programme (FP7/2007-2013) / ERC grant agreement n° 366155.
