Fondazione Eni Enrico Mattei (FEEM) and Bocconi University are organizing a workshop entitled “Back from the brink: rethinking financial regulation”. Aim of the workshop is to gather some of the key experts to discuss the design of new regulatory regimes after the global credit crisis. The workshop will take place in Milan at FEEM on Friday March 27, 2009 right before the G20 meeting scheduled on April 2 in London.

The format of the workshop is as follows: top tier international academics will be give a short presentation of the core problems and envisaged policy actions followed by an open discussion involving 25/30 European top decision makers from the financial community and the policy sphere. Participation will be by invitation only and the discussion held under Chatham House rule.
