Evidence on the links between climate change and business is becoming increasingly clear. Business decisions will either slow or accelerate the pace at which climate change will unfold. Companies face growing pressure from investors to address the risks and opportunities related to climate change. Nonetheless, board of directors are currently provided with limited practical guidance to understand their role in tackling such risks and opportunities. To help boards of directors respond to climate change, The World Economic Forum (WEF) developed a set of principles and questions designed to practically assess and debate an organization’s approach to climate governance and frame boards’ thinking about how the latter could be made more robust. This webinar will present and discuss such framework to help companies integrate the climate into corporate governance.
