FEEM participates to the SDSN Leadership Council in New York on September 23-24, 2018. The SDSN Leadership Council brings together global sustainable development leaders from all regions. It acts as the board of SDSN. During these days, many themes are discussed with implications for government, academia, and civil society. In particular, Leaders are reviewing the progress towards implementing Paris Agreement, and the strategic directions for all the SDSN’s work. They are sharing national experiences and the local SDG Implementation process. Moreover, they are reasoning about Business and the SDGs and about the Investment needs and the macroeconomics of achieving the SDGs.

Much of SDSN’s work is led by National or Regional SDSNs, which mobilize knowledge institutions around the SDGs. In order to align the content and to stress the specificities that exist in the different regions and countries, managers will meet and discuss during a dedicated Workshop, that will take place on September 25-28, 2018. Laura Cavalli, FEEM researcher and SDSN Italia Manager will attend the workshop, a real opportunity to start collaborations between and within networks, to share all the best practices and the find solutions for the challenges we are facing.
