Monica Eberle (degree in Economics at University Ca’ Foscari Venice, Italy) joined FEEM in 1997. Since 2009, she has been the Officer of the Climate Change and Sustainable Development Research Programme: under this position, she carries out management activities including the management of individual projects run within the Programme. Since 2004, she has been also the Secretary General of the European Association of Environmental and Resource Economists (EAERE). Since May 2015, she has been the Secretary General of the Italian Association of Environmental and Resource Economists (IAERE).
Previous positions include: manager of the Climate Change Modelling and Policy Research Programme at FEEM (2006-2008), manager of the Ecological and Environmental Economic project (partnership of FEEM, the Abdus Salam International Centre for Theoretical Physics ICTP and the Beijer Institute of Ecological Economics – 2002-2005), and event manager at FEEM (1997-2005) and University Ca’ Foscari Venice (1993-1995).
