The event THE ROLE OF TECHNOLOGIES AND THE ENERGYSCENARIOS IN THE DECARBONIZATION PROCESS, organized by CNR, ENEA, FEEM,
ISPRA, Politecnico of Milano and RSE,
under the auspices of the Italian
Ministry for Environment, Land and Sea Protection (MATTM),

will be held on October 3,
2017 at CNR, Sala Marconi, Piazzale Aldo Moro 7, Rome.


The
decarbonization of the economy is one of the prorities of Italian and European
climate and environmental policies.

The event will be the occasion to present “Il Catalogo delle Tecnologie Energetiche” 
(The Catalogue of
Energy Technologies) and
“Gli scenari di sviluppo del sistema
energetico nazionale“
, (The Development Scenarios of the
Italian Energy System) elaborated by “Tavolo Tecnico sulla decarbonizzazione dell’economia”
(Technical Working Group for the decarbonization of the economy) with the
active participation and diverse contributions of public administrations,
universities, research centres, associations and firms.

FEEM has contributed with a macroeconomic reference
scenario developed inhouse with the ICES MODEL (Intertemporal Computable Equilibrium System). 

The
reference scenario will serve as a basis for comparison for the subsequent
assessment of decarbonization and energy development policies in Italy.
